A gitignore file specifies intentionally untracked files that Git should ignore. Files already tracked by Git are not affected. Git can be configured to ignore certain files and directories for repository operations. GitHub doesn’t appear to have a default .gitignore file for new Vue.js projects, so here’s what I’m currently using.
